Day 33 - Day Off

Sleeping in at the Sleep Inn
Pueblo, CO
Our first day off was filled with a morning of sleeping in, a dip in the pool, some basic bike repair, stocking up on supplies, lunch at Sonic (again), and a matinee showing of Clerks II. Greg and Katie shuttled us around in Greg's about-to-explode (although just serviced) Jeep. Anyone with experience in insurance fraud should contact him with ideas.

greg and i were so happy to see you two. glad that you were able to get some rest. moses misses austin already! thankfully the jeep made it home, but will be gone soon. glad i finally got the address, now i can keep up with your travels. be safe and have fun in the mountains! katie

The posting of a daily theme song is the greatest way for us readers to comprehend the emotions of the day. Like "Sweet Emotions" would conjure images of massive tail winds, cars filled with topless coeds, and a free steak, while "Countin on a Miracle" (by The Boss) would bring to mind, umm, say, the Rockies. What they said about Donkey shows coming from Tijuana in Clerks II is a lie. Ive searched the entire city for one. That donkey kind of looked like it had epididymitis though huh? I dont know what epididymitis is.
